Rotisserie Chickens at The Piggy Market
There are three things that allow us to give you the guarantee that you'll never buy another Rotisserie Chicken like ours...
The Chickens
Perhaps our one exception to the rule of knowing our farmers by name. Any chicken that we could buy from a farmer locally would cost an astronomical amount to rotisserie. So we have found the best commercial bird available. Giannone Poultry, in Quebec, is an absolutely phenomenal chicken. They are raised with space to move around, all grain fed, and air chilled. The flavour difference is beyond belief. They are also growth hormone and antibiotic free, as Canadian law dictates.
Brining
Our chickens are brined for 18 hours, with their daily specific seasonings. This gives the final flavour of the chickens time to develop, and also helps to keep the chickens moist after they are cooked.
Our Flavours
We have a strict schedule of what flavour happens on what day, and we developed all the recipes ourselves, giving our rotisserie a unique taste whatever day you come in.
Chickens are ready Monday thru Friday at 4:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 pm. Call to reserve, or take your chances!
