As the season turns

The cold weather always invites comfort food here at the store. The freezer is kept stocked with pot pies, stews, mac n'cheese, and other goodies. The butcher shop keeps up with stewing and braising cuts, and soups are made often, sometimes twice a day.
We'll have a few specials throughout the winter, such as Robbie Burns day in January and St. Patty's day in March.
The background of our thoughts is turning towards the first steaks of April, fiddleheads, and the eventual return of lamb. As always, for store updates, check our Twitter and blog feeds at the top of the page!
